Description: 4-7 mm length.
It is one of the 15 species of Polydrusus recorded in Belgium.

Biology: The larvae feed on deciduous trees such as Quercus (Oak), Alnus glutinosa (European alder) and Fagus sylvatica (European beech).
Adults can be seen from April to August.
