Description: Perennial, compact, with narrowly oblanceolate leaves, lower leaves crowded and often in opposite pairs, corolla purple, 18mm in diameter, siliques 22-35mm long. Size 10-20cm.
The genus Aubrieta includes 17 species.
Biology: It blooms on early summer.
Habitat: Agglomerate rocks, from 1000 to 2500m.
Distribution: Endemic of the mountains of Central and Southern Turkey. Irano-Turanian element.
