Description: Deciduous shrub with twin yellowish-white flowers and scarlet fruit.

Biology: Flowering from May to July.

Habitat: Warm oak and beech woodland, shrubland, on calcareous soil.

Distribution: Native to Europe, Western and Northern Asia. Invasive to Western USA.
