Common names: Carmel daisy, Prolific scabious [En], Berg-Carmel-Skabiose [De]

Geçitköy (Panagra, Παναγρα), Kyrenia (Girne, Κερύνεια) ● Cyprus

Description: Herbaceous annual plant.
The leaves are entire, opposite, dentate or serrate.
The flowers are creamy yellow.

Biology: Flowering from March to May.

Habitat: Rocky, dry fields and meadows.

Distribution: Eastern Mediterranean; Southern Italy, Greece (Rhodes), Cyprus, Egypt (Sinai), Israel/Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey (South Eastern).
