Common names: Tenthrède du rosier [Fr], Aardbeibladwesp [Nl]

Description: The hindlegs are red with white knees. The 5th tergite is white. This species is similar to Allantus cingulatus Scopoli, 1763, which has a white labrus, clypeus and the pronotum posterior edge. On A. cinctus, the face is completely black and the tegulae sometimes with white patches.
Habitat: Larvae are living on Rosaceae (Rosa spp., Rubus spp., Fragaria spp.)
Distribution: Europe.
