Description: The pronotum is elongated, heart-shaped and narrower than the elytra. The head is thrown forward with the eyes located laterally. The elytra are slightly hairy.
This species is distinguished from the related species Chrysanthia viridissima by its smaller size and its yellow profemurs.
Habitat: Forest edges, flowering meadows.
Distribution: Continental Europe, Near East.
