Aricia crassipuncta Christoph, 1893 ♂
Syn.: Aricia anteros subsp. crassipuncta
Common names: Anatolian Blue Argus [En], Çokgözlü Anadolumavisi [Tu]

Olgunlar, ARTVİN ● Turkey

Description: The wingspan is 28-30 mm. This species is very close to A. anteros. Male upperside is more bright blue than those of A. anteros and the forewing underside lacks the black spot in the middle.

Biology: Adults fly from May to August. The foodplants are Geranium pusillum and Erodium circutarium.

Habitat: 1000-2000 m altitude.

Distribution: Turkey (Far East Anatolia and North-East Black Sea), Armenia
