Hycleus (Mylabris) scabiosae Olivier, 1811

Kosecobanli, Gulnar, MERSIN ● Turkey

Distribution: Caucasus, European part of South Russia, Central Asia, Kazakhstan, the Balkan Peninsula, Asia Minor, Syria, Iran, Irak, Afghanistan.
It is a widespread species in Turkey. However its population is higher in Southern and Eastern provinces. It has been recorded from 500 m up to 2800 m.
