Description: Small buprestid. Pronotum generally light metallic green. The male has elytrae of same color. The female has red copper elytrae. 5-6.5 mm.
Biology : Host plant of larvae: Pyrus communis, Malus domestica, Prunus domestica, Cerasus sp., Ficus carica… Host plants of adults: various flowers including Achillea sp.. Can be seen from April to August.
Distribution: Southern Europe, Western Asia and Middle East. From Spain to Turkmenistan, from Germany to Israel and Iraq.
