Description: circa 5mm.
Biology : The larvae grow on Pyrus and Quercus.
Distribution: Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Israel, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and Iran for the species. The subspecies A. saxicola saxicola occurs on the same range, except on Cyprus, which has the endemic subspecies A. saxicola bijuga Marseul, 1865, and Crete, which has the endemic subspecies A. saxicola minoa Obenberger, 1940.
